DUI Dismissed on Speedy Trial Grounds

My client was involved in an accident and charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated assault by auto. He applied for and was admitted into the pretrial intervention program on the aggravate ... d assault charge. After successfully completing PTI, the DUI was remanded to municipal court. I moved to dismiss the DUI on the basis that my client was not afforded a speedy trial as is his Constitutional right. The DUI and related charges were dismissed.
