Not A Good Experience

These are the facts of my experience with this person: My name was never changed during my divorce. A trial, two motions and an appeal were lost despite over $60,000 in billable hours. Emails and phone calls went unanswered for weeks or months. You decide.

Sharing my Experience

I hired this attorney for my divorce. I asked that my last name be changed & this office never finalized my name changed. I paid over $50,000 for the time this person spent on my trial, and my name was not changed. My trial was high stakes, and my family and I did not prevail. I paid $10,000 for on...ly the brief in my appeal. My appeal did not move forward. I paid $15,000 for months of waiting for responses to emails for weeks, never receiving orders for my case, basic things like filling a letter of representation with the child support office never happened, this person lost a very high-stakes motion.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
