I paid $1,000 and got nothing for it. He's in it for the money only. Did absolutely nothing on my case. Took a criminal case, when he had no business taking my case. He is a dwi, dui and traffic lawyer. He does not explain anything. When you go to court, he does nothing in your favor, just pleas you ...out, without a conference with you. Very terrible lawyering, Bernstein does not discuss options., strategy , or ANYTHING. Only initial office visit,, no other time spent with him. Leaves you hanging all the way up to court appearance. Totally ruined my case. Does not speak up in your favor or do anything, against the opposing lawyer. He agreed with defendants lawyer to dismiss the case, when I had 2 charges against defendant, plus a witness, to her one charge. Absolutely total injustice by this lawyer. I demanded a full refund. Going to arbitration, and filing complaint against him. To many other things to list. Run from this lawyer

The first time I contacted Mark was in July 2017, before I was facing any charges, it turned out that the state filed simple assault charges again...st me, and in December I needed an attorney to represent me in court. Mr. Bernstein spoke with me from July up to December, and was incredibly knowledgeable, helpful and outlined what I can expect.
