Doug was referred to us by good friends who had used him for eldercare estate planning twice. My parents & I met with him twice to have new wills & estate trusts prepared and he was very easy to talk to and had answers to all of our questions. He took all the time necessary to explain things and go... over recommendations that he had to address our concerns and wishes. My parents loved the way they were treated and guided in the estate planning process. They now have excellent plans & documents in place to handle their affairs and estate. His office staff were very helpful as well and treated us like royalty. I first met Douglas Fendrick many years ago at a presentation he did for Estate Planning. I was much younger at the time, but I had concerns about what would happen to my estate if I died without a will. I was, and still am, a single woman, so I felt it was imperative for me to have a plan in place. ...Mr. Fendrick prepared all of the documents that were needed after careful discussions with me and he has updated those documents over the years as my circumstances have changed. He is, first of all, extremely knowledgeable about all the details of estate planning, including such concerns as Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, etc. He explains things in such a way that I could understand the legal implications of all my decisions, and, even more importantly, he presents his opinions and his guidance in a reasoned, calm and reassuring manner. He has "caught" things that I did not even consider and has lead me to make choices that I believe are the very best I could choose. Because he is knowledgeable about the estate taxes in other states, I will be able to save my estate thousands of dollars. I highly recommend Mr. Fendrick. He is an excellent estate attorney and a pleasure to work with.
