I first met Douglas Fendrick many years ago at a presentation he did for Estate Planning. I was much younger at the time, but I had concerns about what would happen to my estate if I died without a will. I was, and still am, a single woman, so I felt it was imperative for me to have a plan in place. ...Mr. Fendrick prepared all of the documents that were needed after careful discussions with me and he has updated those documents over the years as my circumstances have changed. He is, first of all, extremely knowledgeable about all the details of estate planning, including such concerns as Power of Attorney, Health Care Proxies, etc. He explains things in such a way that I could understand the legal implications of all my decisions, and, even more importantly, he presents his opinions and his guidance in a reasoned, calm and reassuring manner. He has "caught" things that I did not even consider and has lead me to make choices that I believe are the very best I could choose. Because he is knowledgeable about the estate taxes in other states, I will be able to save my estate thousands of dollars. I highly recommend Mr. Fendrick. He is an excellent estate attorney and a pleasure to work with.
