Doug was referred to us by good friends who had used him for eldercare estate planning twice. My parents & I met with him twice to have new wills & estate trusts prepared and he was very easy to talk to and had answers to all of our questions. Doug guided our family through the complex decisions pertaining to elder care and estate planning for my mother, who turned 100 years old in October of 2018. He enabled us to maximize the use of her assets, starting with providing for in home care, the sale of her home, and eventually through to assi...sted living and Medicaid. The Medicaid application process is extensive, and legal documents were required to obtain approval for those benefits. Mom is heading to her 101st birthday with a great quality of life, excellent care, and no financial worries for the future. Doug also guided us to prearrange her final funeral and burial arrangements. Our family couldn’t have done any of this without Doug.
