I hired, and still work with, Sarah Zuba to help me with my child's IEP and speak for me in IEP meetings. When I went to IEP meetings without a lawyer, the school district started to take away services for my son because I didn't know the law and didn't know how to defend my son. Everyone told me not... to go to IEP meetings without an advocate. I hired Sarah and she reversed the situation. She is kind and friendly, but fierce. She is smart and knows the law. She is also listens and when things go wrong and with a child with ASD and ADHD in a regular school things can go wrong all the time. I can email or call her and she knows exactly what say and do to document and/or fix the situation. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done and Sarah can be a calm captin on stormy seas. When you hire an educational lawyer you're likely in the situation for longer than divorce (I'm divorced and that took a year vs nearly 3 years with Sarah) so it's very important that you love your attorney. Sarah will become a trusted advisor.
