Peter Colonna-Romano

Peter Colonna Romano has experience litigating a wide variety of lawsuits ranging from qui tam actions to Multi-District Litigation to commercial disputes. He also has considerable experience with product liability claims asserted against manufacturers, particularly the manufacturers of aviation products.

As an attorney, Mr. Colonna Romano has dedicated considerable time to pro bono matters. He has worked with Philadelphia VIP representing indigent Philadelphia residents in real estate disputes including quiet title, ejectment and mortgage foreclosure actions. He also has worked with HIAS-Pennsylvania representing unaccompanied minors from Central America in dependency hearings in Orphans’ Court and before the United States Customs & Immigration Service.

Mr. Colonna Romano has been selected as a Pennsylvania Rising Star by the publishers of Super Lawyers on five occasions, in both the fields of aviation law (2012-2014) and business litigation (2015-2016), as well as appearing on the First Judicial District’s Pro Bono Honor Roll.

Mr. Colonna Romano is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and State of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden and a Bachelor of Arts in History from George Washington University.
