Tyler John Wicks

Tyler J. Wicks is an associate in the Commercial Litigation Group of Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP. Tyler has broad experience before state and federal courts in multiple jurisdictions representing individual and institutional clients in complex commercial matters, including pre-litigation negotiations, pre-trial discovery, motion practice, mediation, arbitration, trial, and appeal. Tyler's practice focuses primarily on shareholder/membership disputes, corporate looting, enforcement of restrictive covenants, consumer fraud claims, commercial landlord/tenant disputes, and various breach of contract matters. He has also successfully represented employers before the New Jersey Department of Labor & Workforce Development and California Department of Industrial Relations.

Tyler graduated first in his class from Monterey College of Law in 2016, earning his first J.D. degree, where he was a Teaching Fellow, and Heisler Moot Court finalist. He received his second J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2019, where he was an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Law Review, and appeared before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the Superior Court of New Jersey as a student attorney. Tyler graduated from Bond University in Australia in 2010 earning a Bachelor of Business with a double major in Business Management and Business Law.
