My divorce came to an end, in the worst way possible. Alyssa DeFuria, was the worst possible attorney anyone could have for a divorce. She had no understanding of the law or the courts . Alyssa tells you what she thinks you wish to hear, gets off the phone quickly . For filing an important divor...ce motion with the court, she put it together the night before it was due. Sent, with spelling mistakes and information that was not supposed to be included. I would never use her again or recommend her legal services.

After being the victim of domestic abuse and protecting the person that had been abusing me for years (because of financial dependence) I finally got the courage to walk away. Only to have him abuse me in a different way. He lied to the police that I threatened him and got a retraining order against ...me, custody of my daughter and then he kicked me out the house with my son (not his child) knowing we had nowhere to go. I called Alyssa and she advised me to go to the police station and file my own restraining order and tell my side of the story. Luckily i had some proof too! So, the judge granted me the restraining order against him, custody of our daughter, and the apartment. Thank you Alyssa! One night away from daughter was too long.
