Sharmila D Jaipersaud

Ms. Jaipersaud focuses her practice in the areas of corporate, real estate and business transactions. She specializes in in health care transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions of practices, general business counseling and business succession planning. She also prepares and negotiates employment agreements on behalf of clients.
 
For over a decade, Ms. Jaipersaud has been dedicated to assisting clients in their transactional needs. She has assisted clients from the inception of their negotiations to the finalization of their transactional matters.

Prior to joining Schenck, Price, Smith & King, LLP, Ms. Jaipersaud obtained extensive experience in corporate health care law and general corporate law. Ms. Jaipersaud also served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John B. Dangler, J.S.C., Civil Division for the 2002-2003 term. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Business Law Division as well as the New Jersey State Bar Association, Health Law Section, Women in Profession Section, the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association and the American Health Lawyers Association.  Ms. Jaipersaud earned her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law - Camden, (2002). She received her undergraduate degree from Fordham University, where she was a member of the Phi Sigma Tau National Philosophy Honor Society, B.A. (1999). She is admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey (2002), the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey (2002) and the State of New York (2003).

Ms. Jaipersaud has also been named as one of the 2014 New Leaders of the Bar and as a New Jersey Super Lawyer, Rising Star (2010 and 2015).
