Tom Fischer could not recall the facts of my case at any point during his time working for me. He was completely surprised to learn how child support payments were calculated, and was unable to effectively communicate to other attorneys or in person. He billed 2 hours for a 23-minute meeting that sho...uld not have taken place. Upon confrontation, he admitted as much, blamed an administrative assistant, and took the charge away. Undeterred, he billed several other non-events over the next year. Unbelievably, he repeatedly sent my bills to the defendant, after being informed in writing and in person not to continue doing so. The defendant found it both informative and amusing. Tom Fischer fired a string of administrative assistants and at least one attorney over the course of the year he tried to settle my divorce. I have come to find out from several people in the community that his practice is probably the least reputable and effective in Warren County, NJ. Use another attorney.
