Bad experience

You would have to be sure to attempt to tell him your situation before meeting in person since it was hard enough to get a phone call with him. Communication was poor. Even then, if you get to tell him a bit of something, there's still the chance that he'll sit with the other party and proceed to act... in their favor. This was my first time ever having a lawyer and I most likely will never decide to have one again thanks to Brady. I hired this lawyer based on a family recommendation, but had a very troubling experience. I would've rather atleast got to tell him more on the case before he agreed to do it, meaning the real only agreement was for the payment, with the fact that he asked for money upfront with no consultation that followed. Atleast he offers a payment plan, but we just had a few small texts of communication leading up to the hearing, which I was hoping would be the day that we finally had a conversation. Sadly, it wasn't. Be aware that you may be paying for him to have an entire consultation with the other party, not you. On the day of the court hearing, he spent most of his time with the opposing party’s lawyer, then arrived to me at the last minute with bias, a re-arranged message, a one-sided lecture & gave me little chance to speak by dismissing anything else I tried to say. He allowed the opposing party’s lawyer to consistently interupt every chance we got to speak until he was fully convinced by them. I spent most of the time waiting for him to come back, rather than actually speaking to him. He then pressured me to sign two papers of an agreement I was hesitant about to which I only signed one - I stopped because I ultimately objected to the agreement. Despite my clear objections and emotional distress, he still submitted the signed paper to the other party without my informed consent. Afterward, I called him to tell him he didn’t have to continue if he wasn’t fully committed to representing me. After he'd already finished acting in the other party's interest, only at a later date we had mutually agreed to stop the services. The fastest and most word that I finally did get from him were the most negative, disrespectful and emotionally charged. My final communication was a polite request for a refund, which he responded to with a single long rant including hostility, name-calling, blame, belittlement, passive-aggressive money talk, condescension, and accusations. I am not exaggerating. I didn't ask for anymore legal advice, but he took that final interaction as a chance to drop a load, coated as legal advice. The refund was the last thing he mentioned since it was more about why he didn't feel like my case was valid in a rude manner that I was overwhelmed to get from Mr. Brady. This experience left me feeling unsupported and retraumatized during an already difficult time and I did not expect to recieve anything of that nature from Mr. Brady.. I don't understand or know what happened while I waited long for him. He started off respectful up until he formed his complete judgement influenced by the other party without hearing everything I had to say. I do not recommend him for anyone seeking compassionate and competent legal help. Perhaps other legal help. But, emphasis on please at least attempt to tell him your entire situation first and be sure that he agrees with you or your case before moving forward.

Above and beyond

If anyone was in a bad situation like mine, I had just moved from NY NY to beautiful Longvalley and just bought a car. The problem is i was pulled over for crossing the center line and was arrested by a budd lake cop. They treated me terribly I wasn't drinking at the time and they gave me a bunch o...f tickets including a Dui for Trazadone a sleeping pill. I was in panic mode ,knew no one certainly no local lawyers. Much to my surprise I got a letter in the mail 2 days later. I was panicking thought I would get 6 months or a years suspension. The letter was from John ,he offered free consultation and payment plans. From then on answered all of my question was available to answer my questions and if it court immediately after he text me. Very nice ,not like your typical lawyers money, money, money. He genuinely cared. After working his magic I got 3 months suspension and no fines at all. I would definitely get a consultation ,after that you will certainly hire him as you lawyer. I think he covers other areas other than DUI. Anyway he really got me out of a jam at a very fair price. If your in a jam dont wait to look him up on google.John Brady Hackettstown NJ. You wont regret It.
