Shoplifting

I paid $2500 to this law firm for my defense. Friends helped me with the cost, but they took the money and did nothing. On the day of court, they switched lawyers, and ABRAHAM N. BASCH was unprepared. I never suggested anyone go to this law firm. They'll take your money but won't help. Please avoid t...hem. After losing my mom in August, my 2-year-old and I are homeless. The Spanish lawyer they assigned didn't know how to help, and now I'm struggling to find a job to care for my baby. If you value your well-being, stay away from this law firm. They didn't know about my community service, and I had to leave my daughter with friends. After each day, I ended up sleeping on the streets. This law firm only cares about money, not clients. I regret not choosing a better firm. I'm writing this review using a friend's phone, and I'm crying because I'm homeless.

Rude lady

I called the office today and I was rushed off the phone and I was told if my husband was sentenced for drug he can’t appeal the case he has to do the rest of his time but I looked it you online and that’s is not true so thank you rude lady who answer the phone taking my business somewhere else .

This wasn't a client of my office. The individual never even spoke to an attorney (there are no female lawyers at the firm and she said she spoke to a women). The person is obviously frustrated because a loved one, who we did not represent, ended up being sentenced to jail/prison. This certainly isn't a reflection on the quality of representation provided by me or my firm since I never even had any contact with the person nor any other lawyer at my firm. There is a good lesson nonetheless that can be found from this misplaced review - get high quality representation long prior to sentencing. The legal system can be unforgiving so you need to make all the right moves. I strongly believe hiring a qualified defense attorney is a must rather than entrusting your case to someone who is overloaded with cases and/or inexperienced. I know we could have helped this individual had she retained us. Now she is left frustrated because of an unfavorable outcome that was the result of some other attorney's efforts. Hopefully, the situation improved for her.

You don't have to look anymore

I was accused of sexual assault. Everyone shunned me, even several attorneys that I called. No wanted to take my defense seriously. But John was different. I knew he believed me and I thank god I found him. He scrutinized all the evidence and poked so many holes in the case that I was able avoid a co...nviction. I made the right choice and will never consider anyone than John if I ever get in trouble again.

Immigration and Other Consequences Avoided!

I was charged with third degree shoplifting in Lawrence NJ. The case was significantly more complicated because I only have a VISA. Several attorneys that my VISA could be revoked if I was convicted. I did my research and hired John as my lawyer and could not be my satisfied. He was very familiar wit...h the process and court. This allowed him to get my case reduced as sent back to municipal court as a misdemeanor. He then worked hard to further help me. This resulted in the offense being amended again to disorderly conduct instead of shoplifting, and then it being conditionally dismissed. Me and my family avoided serious ramifications by hiring John. I highly recommend him as his knowledge and skill is exceptional.
