In August 2016, my teenage son was arrested for recording a video prank in Cape May County. He was charged with multiple felonies and faced up to 10 years in State prison. Our son was arrested in Woodbridge, NJ, at a rest stop for possession of a small vial of marijuana and possession of a fake ID. We are from Massachusetts and knew no one in the area. Greg came highly recommended through lawyer friends. He's a former prosecutor who knows the NJ system and its players.... That's essential. He explained our options clearly but didn't pressure us. We felt very comfortable engaging him. He quickly got the more serious fake ID charge reduced from Superior Court to municipal court. When the state didn't produce any evidence, he decided to force a court date and push the prosecutor into negotiating. He knew the labs were quite slow. At the first court appearance, he got the prosecutor to agree to a 60-day period in which the state must produce evidence. When we went back to court a second time, the state still failed to produce evidence, and Greg got the marijuana charge dismissed and the ID charge reduced to a "noise" violation, with a fine. That's very minor, and not a criminal offense. In short, his well-calculated strategy totally paid off. Our son now has no criminal record, and no conviction to get expunged. Throughout, Greg was clear with us, responsive, and treated us very courteously. We absolutely would recommend him highly.
