If you try to do this without an attorney you can be creating unforseen (by you) problems and costs. This isn’t the area to try to do it yourself.
My father currently has 2 executors on his revocable trust will, and wants to remove one. Can this be done with a codicil. ?

You can amend a revocable living trust, and a will by codicil. Without a lawyer you may have serious problems later on
