The consultation was fantastic. She was attentive and very informative. Once she received the 10k retainer, she was impossible to get in touch with. At $450.00 an hour I had to beg to get her to talk with me. She did not follow through with scheduled phone appointments, with no excuse. Made deals wit...h the apposing attorney without my consent, bragged about how much business she had, extremely condescending. She would call back after hours, and if I did not answer, then there was no way to get back in touch with her . She literally has no extension. Her inability to do her job, became very frustrating, so at times leading me to be short with her staff, (which I apologize for) but she won’t take any responsibility for her actions. There are other reviews that elude to the fact that she does not care for men. Her entire office is all women. It is my opinion that she is Bias towards women. She wrote “one” letter and charged me $1900.00 before I finally fired her.

After spending 8 months in mediation while working with another attorney, I turned to Marguerite. Marguerite, her para Darlene, and all staff were very responsive to my issues and concerns throughout the process. There are no winners in divorce, but Marguerite ensured I was well informed, well repr...esented, and I received what I was entitled to. Highly recommend Marguerite Maggs.
