Louis John Keleher

I hired Louis for a criminal case in NJ court. I was facing 8 disorderly charges that started in superior court for both drugs and assault charges. Needless to say I was very concerned about how this case would be resolved and how. Louis answered all my questions and set up calls either the same day ...or the following. He responded to all my questions in a timely manner which helped keep an open line of communication. Ultimately the resolution was better than I could have hoped for getting them reduced to ordinances. He had a strategy amongst which he defended my case to the Judge and the DA. It was evident during my time in court that they had read the mitigation packet he put together which we had spoke about as far back as our consultation. He knew how he was going to attack this case from the jump which is the sign of an experienced lawyer. His experience, commitment to the case, and communication skills are of high caliber. Rarely do you get all three of those things in an attorney. That combined with the extremely reasonable cost of his service really made it feel like a bargain. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for council in New Jersey. It's not easy to put your money and faith into an attorney, but I am truly glad I did with him.

Louis J. Keleher is an excellent attorney. He handled our son’s traffic matter (open container + speeding) with skill and efficiency. Louis negotiated the charges down to Unsafe Driving with no points — only a fine — which was critical because our son is in the process of obtaining his CDL. Communic...ation was clear and timely, and the outcome was better than we expected. Highly recommend Louis if you need someone who actually gets into the prosecutor’s room and delivers results. You know what? Well… Yes I did make a mistake. I assumed my brand new firearm was cleared of live rounds, but it was not and accidentally discharged into the kitchen cabinet. Long short, I got in trouble. I’m a retired cop, BTW, but never the less, it was my fault. I completed all of my PTI requirem...ents, and my case was dismissed. The judge overseeing the case made it clear that when I complete my PTI, I am to get all of my weapons that the state police took. So after that, mind you, the prosecutors office sent a letter to our new NJ State Police administration, that I was good to go. I had to update my address, because my permit had my old address, and they denied my rdauest, and I was not going to get about 20 of my firearms back. Some from WW1, and WW2, some from in between, some modern, on and on. I felt like they were stolen from me and my family. My attorney for the criminal part was awesome, but he wasn’t right for my second amendment issues. To finish up, Louis, cautiously optimistic at the start, was so amazing for me and my family. I get emotional just texting this now. Not only did my family and I get all of our weapons back, we didn’t even have to go to a court hearing! That doesn’t happen often, but for me, it did! Amazing!!! Also, he and his law firm, handled and completed my expungement. So, after 3 years and 8 months, to this very date, literally, the 23rd, it is finally completely over. So, if you took the time to read my long review, your lucky, because with God and many of my prayers, he fixed this crap, for me and my family! Not to mention, we’re in NJ, and we have literally one of the toughest states.
