Thomas J Warren

Mr. Warren is highly skilled in legal matters involving real estate, commercial real estate, commercial leases, commercial landlord/tenant proceedings, loan transactions, loan agreements, zoning, planning, and land use development. His extensive experience has led him to numerous client successes in real estate litigation and disputes, including boundary line disputes, title litigation, contract enforcement, lease enforcement, encroachments and easements. Mr. Warren has more than 30 years of experience handling complex real estate and land use matters, including residential subdivisions, commercial projects, and industrial projects.

Mr. Warren regularly appears before municipal planning and zoning boards throughout New Jersey representing individuals, companies, and non-profit organizations in land use development applications. To that end, he works closely with architects, planners, traffic experts, engineers and other such professionals. He provides responsive service and strategic insight through every phase of the application process. As an example of his accomplishments, Mr. Warren serves as counsel to Monmouth Conservation Foundationand has been instrumental in acquiring and conserving thousands of acres of “open space” lands throughout Monmouth County.

Mr. Warren provides experienced representation to both sellers and purchasers in residential, commercial and non-profit real estate transactions throughout New Jersey. He specializes in high-value and complex transactions in this regard. He provides his clients with superior representation through the closing process, including the drafting, negotiation, and enforcement of purchase agreements.

Mr. Warren also provides client guidance during the process of securing financing for real estate and development projects. Further, he specializes in representing both lenders and borrowers in loan transactions and agreements. Mr. Warren also provides general representation to branch banks. In that regard he prepares bank forms and documents, and commercial and residential loan documents. He further engages in litigation on behalf of banks including collection actions, commercial mortgage foreclosures, and replevin of personal property.

Mr. Warren is a graduate of Rutgers College and Rutgers School of Law-Camden. Prior to joining the firm of McOmber & McOmber, P.C. he was associated with two other firms and later was employed by Lawyers Title Insurance Corporation at its branch office located in Freehold, New Jersey. Mr. Warren joined McOmber & McOmber, P.C. in 1980.

Mr. Warren lives with his wife in East Brunswick, Middlesex County, New Jersey. They are members of Saint Bartholomew Church also located in East Brunswick, New Jersey. He is a charter member of the Knights of Columbus Council Number 11873. For many years, Mr. Warren was active in the Boy Scouts of America and is an Eagle Scout. He served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster for Troop 109. Additionally, Mr. Warren served as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Scoutmaster at two National Jamborees and an Assistant Scoutmaster at an International Jamboree. Mr. Warren also served as a district chairman and earned the District Award of Merit for his service. He is a Vigil member of the Order of the Arrow, and has earned the Wood Badge, the most advanced training available for Scout Leaders.
