I am the founder of the Price Meese Shulman & D'Arminio, P.C. Education Law Group. I advocate for parents and students to obtain a free, appropriate public education for students with disabilities under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (“IDEA”), Section 504 & related laws. The Education Law Group services include reviewing Individual Education Plans (“IEP”) & Section 504 Plans, attending meetings and filing due process petitions when necessary. My education law experience started over two decades and is both personal and professional.
I represent students with any educational issues including academic issues, school disciplinary cases, bullying cases and collegiate academic and disciplinary matters.I also handle special needs planning, Special Needs Trusts, guardianship applications & social security appeals.
I am a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s School Law Committe & the New Jersey Special Education Practitioners group. I work as a pro bono attorney and mentor for Volunteer Lawyers for Justice.
I started my legal career as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert E. Hamer, J.S.C. I earned her law degree, cum laude, from New York Law School & was Managing Editor of the NYLS Journal of International and Comparative Law. I am a cum laude graduate of Dickinson College.
I also practice commercial real estate, corporate transactions & commercial leasing. I served as the Public Defender in a local municipality.
I am admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey, the United States District Court of New Jersey, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court of the Southern District of New York, the United States Tax Court, and the United States Supreme Court.

I provide parents of children who have disabilities or are suspected of having disabilities guidance to obtain appropriate educational services from the school district. I understand the complexities of obtaining special education services for children from both professional and personal experience. I provide parents with knowledge of procedural and substantive rights under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act of 2004 (IDEA) & the New Jersey regulations implementing IDEA’s provisions.
