About Brad
Biography
After completing my undergraduate studies at Montclair State University in three years, I moved to California and went to the University of San Diego School of Law. After receiving my Juris Doctor, I continued my graduate studies there and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation.
After earning my JD, I joined RJS LAW, a mid-sized tax litigation firm with a reputation of being the best in San Diego. After working there for a year, I was promoted to senior associate attorney and am privileged to work on some of the firm’s biggest, most complex tax matters.
I help taxpayers with issues with the IRS, the State Board of Equalization (SBOE), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), and the Empoyment Development Department (EDD). I’ve helped save clients millions of dollars in taxes. I’ve settled tax liabilities for pennies on the dollar, negotiated reasonable payment plans, and convinced the IRS to remove massive penalties assessed on clients.
I’ve also helped clients disclose interests in foreign assets and persuaded IRS attorneys to concede their cases. I’ve worked with hundreds of different IRS employees, including revenue agents (auditors), revenue officers (collectors), appeal officers, managers, and IRS counsel. By dealing with so many different IRS employees, I know what works and what doesn’t.
