About Brad
Biography
After completing my undergraduate studies at Montclair State University in three years, I moved to California and went to the University of San Diego School of Law. After receiving my Juris Doctor, I continued my graduate studies there and received a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Taxation.
After earning my JD, I joined RJS LAW, a mid-sized tax litigation firm with a reputation of being the best in San Diego. After working there for a year, I was promoted to senior associate attorney and am privileged to work on some of the firm’s biggest, most complex tax matters.
I help taxpayers with issues with the IRS, the State Board of Equalization (SBOE), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), and the Empoyment Development Department (EDD). I’ve helped save clients millions of dollars in taxes. I’ve settled tax liabilities for pennies on the dollar, negotiated reasonable payment plans, and convinced the IRS to remove massive penalties assessed on clients.
I’ve also helped clients disclose interests in foreign assets and persuaded IRS attorneys to concede their cases. I’ve worked with hundreds of different IRS employees, including revenue agents (auditors), revenue officers (collectors), appeal officers, managers, and IRS counsel. By dealing with so many different IRS employees, I know what works and what doesn’t.

Screened out of Consultation
If you need help Skip. They screened me out from a consultation because my 12k debt was too small for them. Literal words from their receptionist. Dont waste your time with greedy businesses that dont care about you

Replied last June 09, 2026Hi Mike, I’m Brad, the attorney who owns this firm. I’m really sorry you were left feeling dismissed. That is not how I want anyone treated here, regardless of how much they owe. We do have a minimum case size for full attorney representation. The reason is that for smaller balances, our fees can easily exceed what we’re able to save you. In those situations, I genuinely believe you’re better off either working directly with the IRS on a payment plan or using a lower‑cost provider that focuses on smaller cases. That said, it’s our responsibility to explain that clearly and respectfully, and to offer alternatives. We obviously failed to do that on your call, and I appreciate you bringing it to my attention so I can fix it with our team. If you’re open to it, I’d be happy to personally review your situation and either point you to the best next step at no charge or refer you to a firm that’s a better fit for a $12k balance.
