Since 1996, Elton has litigated thousands of cases covering diverse areas of law and has conducted hundreds of bench and jury trials in the federal, state, and local criminal, civil, and family courts. Elton has represented and continues to represent clients in matters ranging from simple traffic violations to DWI charges all the way up to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th degree state and federal crimes; uncontested divorces to hotly contested family matters involving complex custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, palimony issues, and more.
In addition, Elton has been appointed by the Superior Court to represent the interests of parents and children in DCP&P (foremerly DYFS) actions, as well as attorney for alleged incapacitated individuals in guardinaship proceedings.
