It was an absolute pleasure working with Mr. Richard Kelly. He is very down to earth and easy to work with. He always makes time to explain everything thoroughly and gives you options when things arise during your process. Whenever I had a question he always returned my call that day or emailed me... back. With the times that we are in, it is very comforting to be able to communicate with your attorney, and know that he has your best interests in mind. At one point during the process I thought that we would lose our home. Richard was always there by my side talking to me like I was his own daughter. It's very rare to speak with an attorney like that. I've worked in a few law firms and I can say that they tend to stick by the book and only the book. Unlike Richard who is concerned with his clients first and foremost. During our closing my boyfriend and I were alone with Richard signing the papers. Which was the best thing because Richard was cracking us up with all of his jokes and made that day a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Buying and selling a home is extremely emotional and tiring process. Choosing the right people to keep around you is also a tiring process. We feel very lucky to have come across Richard Kelly. If you want the best down to earth individual that you put themselves in your shoes during your process and treat you with the ultimate respect then the only person you should use is Mr. Richard Kelly.

I have been a highly successful real estate agent for 24 years and have met many attorneys during this time. It is my professional opinion that Richard Kelly is the best residential sales attorney in the area. Mr. Kelly is a consummate professional and is also extremely responsive to my clients.... I have never heard any client complain about a lack of communication; in fact, I've really never heard any complaints at all. Mr. Kelly's knowledge and experience are vast and his intellectual prowess is commanding. While such gifts can be intimidating, Mr. Kelly has an outstanding ability to communicate issues to clients in a way that they are clearly understood thereby enabling them to make informed decisions. He is equally adept at keeping me informed. Additionally, his sense of ethics and duty is uncompromising. In my business, there are attorneys who unfortunately pander to realtors. I would also like to add that Richard Kelly is also a genuinely nice person who works extremely hard. It is not unknown to receive messages from him during a weekend. As I said, he's the best real property attorney in the area but I do know that his practice incorporates other areas of the law as well. My experience with Mr. Kelly is limited to real property.

He is invariably honest and practical; he will spell out for a client the legal issues involved, the likely outcome or various options and, and then tell him,” as a practical matter, this is your best shot.” His aim is what is best for the client and not how much business he can draw from the twists and turns the transaction may take. Those of you who prefer representation by a “junk yard dog” – look elsewhere. Mr. Kelly is a class act with superb legal and people skills and the well-deserved respect of his peers.
