You won't be sorry hiring this lawyer

I just purchased my first house. Mr. Kelly was recommended to me and this recommendation saved me from making a huge mistake. Mr. Kelly saw that I was in over my head and got me out of a sticky predicament. He reads over everything pointing out areas of a home inspection that may cost a buyer money ...in the future and points out these things asking if you are aware of potential problems and offering his recommendations on having potential problems remediated or that credits be awarded before closing happens. Mr. Kelly made it simple for me to understand the legal mumbo/jumbo language on documents. Mr. Kelly has a great humor side to him that also helps to alleviate the stress of closing on a property. You won't be sorry for hiring this lawyer.

Great Real Estate Lawyer

I called Mr. Kelly, and he responded to my email even though it was after hours. He was courteous, and very knowledgeable. With Mr. Kelly our first home purchase was smooth, and we felt that we had someone who would tell us the truth, and recommend the best course of action, if we were uncertain. ...We were prepared at every step of the process, thanks in part to Mr. Kelly's support and advice.

Feel at ease with the best out there

The last question asked above is "Would I recommend this lawyer?" Well I would, and already have. Twice. In a month. Richard Kelly was what I wanted in a lawyer and more. I wanted to know that I had a lawyer that knew what he was doing and had the experience to get me what I needed, and he did that.... He was very responsive, responding to emails very quickly. The best part was that I felt comfortable by how RDK spoke with me and explained things to me. I hired a lawyer to represent me. I don't need to know the jargon, or the ins and outs of the deal, that is what he is for. The lawyer represent you and makes sure your best interests are taken care of. Richard Kelly could not have been any better.

Best attorney we have ever worked with

Richard was the best part about purchasing our new home (well aside from actually closing on it). He is one of those attorneys who "has your back". At no point did we ever feel he wasn't looking out for our best interests or wasn't on top of the legal aspects of buying our house. Getting to our cl...osing was not easy and Richard was there every step of the way. He answered questions and took phone calls over weekends and even on his days off. There is a reason why you hire someone with extensive experience and Richard is that person. My only worry is that Richard will retire before we buy our next house and need him again.

Exceptional Real Estate Attorney

It is truly a pleasure to write this review. Mr. Kelly has represented many of my clients in a variety of real estate transactions. In my experience, there are very few attorneys who understand the nature of real estate transactions or can guide their clients through them better than Mr. Kelly. He ...is unusually accessible and responsive to client’s (and even the agent’s) calls and keeps pace with clients who prefer electronic communications. Whether it is a $2 million colonial or a $285,000 bungalow, Mr. Kelly treats the deal and the participants with equal attention and importance. With over 30 years of experience, Mr. Kelly knows what questions to ask, how to time a question or answer and how to use leverage, even when it seems his client has little to bargain with. He is invariably honest and practical; he will spell out for a client the legal issues involved, the likely outcome or various options and, and then tell him,” as a practical matter, this is your best shot.” His aim is what is best for the client and not how much business he can draw from the twists and turns the transaction may take. Those of you who prefer representation by a “junk yard dog” – look elsewhere. Mr. Kelly is a class act with superb legal and people skills and the well-deserved respect of his peers. A good lawyer may be hard to find but finding an exceptionally good lawyer is as easy as calling Richard Kelly, Esq, in Oradell, NJ
