Christine Hyres O'Donnell

I engaged Christine Hyres O'Donnell esq. ,former public guardian of New Jersey in a Nationally Famous Guardianship case involving the elder abuse of my Mother. Shortly after O'Donnell was retained, Mother was unlawfully removed from New Jersey. O’Donnell offered to make a habeus corpus filing to save... my mother. I was vulnerable, and unaware that habeus corpus filings are not a normal procedure in this type of a matter. O’donnell insisted she needed the help of a New York attorney to assist with the habeus corpus filing. I was to pay O’Donnell for his services. O’Donnell did not tell me the NY Attorney was suspended. . O'Donnell demanded an additional $25,000 to make the habeus corpus filing. I paid the $25,000. No habeus Corpus was ever filed. I discharged O'Donnell. O’Donnell apologized, and promised to return the money. Instead of returning the money, O’Donnell sent me a bill ,for $ 69,000 for the ostensible legal services of O'donnell and the suspended attorney. In my Opinion the actions of Christine Hyres O'Donnell, were predatory and egregious. Christine O’Donnell is often listed as of counsel to large law firms. All the information in this review is of public record. Christine Hyres O’Donnell submitted her billings, which included the billings for the suspended attorney, to the court for consideration. The court became aware of O’Donnell’s use of the suspended attorney. I did not find Christine Hyres O’Donnell to be an honorable trustworthy attorney.
