also known as Peggy Knee, Peggy Sheahan
Peggy Sheahan Knee grew up in the Bronx, New York. She had early exposure to the difficulties facing families with elderly relatives. Her grandfather was severely disabled due to the side effects experienced from encephalopathy and he lived under difficult circumstances from age 82 until age 95. Peggy saw the impact that aging took upon her family and sought to achieve expertise in the newly developled Elder Law field, after establishing herself as a trusts and estates/tax practitioner. She holds a Masters of Taxation law degree from New York University School of Law and has found the degree invaluable in advising both estate planning and Elder Law clients. Peggy also works closely with families who have loved ones with special needs and counsels the families as to the appropriate courses of action to provide for their loved ones in the future.

She is compassionate, extremely well versed in the law and a true professional. I look forward to continuing our affiliation on additional matters. She is very well respected in her field."
"There is nothing I take more seriously than a client asking me to refer them to a lawyer outside of my area of practice. The criteria I use is whether or not I would hire that lawyer to represent me or my family. When it comes to elder care referrals, I have no reservation of referring my family and clients to Peggy Sheahan Knee. She is a top notch lawyer and person. I endorse this lawyer."
