Nancy Horta

Nancy Murray Horta, Esq. was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey in 2011. Ms. Horta completed a one year judicial clerkship for the Honorable William R. DeLorenzo, Jr.,J.S.C., Family Part, Bergen County, New Jersey, which contributed to her intimate knowledge of the court system and familiarity with the Bergen County bench and procedure.  Ms. Horta joined a firm in Morristown, New Jersey, as an associate and continues to appear frequently in Morris and Somerset County Superior Courts. In 2012, Ms. Horta joined the Damiano Law Offices, a firm with a long-standing presence in Passaic County.  Ms. Horta focuses her practice solely in Family Law matters and is dedicated to remaining educated on the ever evolving law and procedure in this diverse and dynamic area of law. Children are always her first priority, and she is conscious of her client's needs and is always willing to take the extra time to listen to their concerns and provide thoughtful explanation. She is also conscientious of her billing practices, always attempting to resolve issues in the most cost effective manner.  Ms. Horta is a member of the New Jersey Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association and is the President-Elect of the Bergen County Young Lawyers Division. Ms. Horta also volunteers as a panelist on the Bergen County Early Settlement Panel.
