Katina Stylianou

Katie Stylianou is a divorce and family law attorney with Weinberger Divorce & Family Law Group, LLC. Ms. Stylianou currently focuses her practices in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, complex asset division, domestic violence, and all other related family law matters. Additionally, Ms. Stylianou is highly skilled in alternative dispute resolution and is a New Jersey Court-Appointed and Qualified Civil Mediator.

Drawing upon over 30 years of experience in the law, Ms. Stylianou provides her clients with compassionate care and seamless legal guidance in their divorce and family matters, ensuring their rights and futures are protected.

Recognizing that divorce and family law matters impact every aspect of her clients’ lives, from their finances to their relationship with their children, Ms. Stylianou works closely with her clients to understand their desires and goals. She then uses this knowledge to help her clients achieve a positive resolution to their matters. A child of divorce herself, Ms. Stylianou understands first-hand the toll divorce can take on families and prioritizes the safeguarding of her clients’ children.

When complex legal questions arise, Ms. Stylianou will examine and clearly explain all scenarios and different possible outcomes in order to arrive at the best possible course of action. Among her prior experiences, Ms. Stylianou was a civil litigator at a large general practice law firm in New Jersey before successfully establishing her own practice where she represented small business and business owners with their family and real estate disputes. Her varied background in corporate and business law has encompassed everything from the formation and governance of corporations, capital raises, franchise agreements and negotiations, the filing, certification and defense of liquor licenses, as well as department of labor violations. Her civil litigation experiences provide her clients with the valuable perspective uncommon to a matrimonial attorney. Additionally, given her experience working with businesses, Ms. Stylianou is uniquely positioned to strategically protect her client’s business interests throughout the divorce process. To that end, Ms. Stylianou’s business acumen and experience enables her to structure pragmatic and comprehensive resolutions regardless of her client’s circumstances.

Ms. Stylianou received her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall Law School. While earning her law degree from Seton Hall, she was awarded Certification in their Clinical Education Programs. Ms. Stylianou is admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the New Jersey District Court Bar. Her participation as a panelist for the Early Settlement Program coupled with years of significant experience have helped guide countless clients through conflict resolution negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation, when necessary. She is member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Bergen County Bar Association and the Passaic County Bar Association. Ms. Stylianou has received recognition for her 30 years of legal service by Lexis-Nexis Martindale Hubbell.

When not advocating for clients, Ms. Stylianou enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, their three children, and their dog. She can also be found navigating her second passion – the culinary world.
