Biography
I have practiced U.S. immigration law since 2018 and am the Managing Attorney of the Fort Lauderdale office of Nachman, Phulwani, Zimovcak & Batra (NPZ & B) Law Group. I represent individuals, families, and employers in family-based and business immigration matters.
My work includes family-based petitions, consular processing, hardship waivers, U visa applications, and asylum. I also handle removal defense, including bond hearings and cancellation of removal, as well as immigration matters connected to criminal cases. I am fluent in Spanish and work directly with Spanish-speaking clients.
I earned my law degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where I was an editor of the Journal of Civil Rights and Economic Development and worked in immigration clinics, including time at the Karnes County detention center near the U.S.-Mexico border. I am admitted in New Jersey and New York and am a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
NPZ & B has offices in Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Ridgewood and Raritan, New Jersey; and New York City.
