My wife and I were first-time homebuyers and we're referred to Ben Cooper by our realtor. Our realtor assured us that she had worked with Ben on many closings and that he was one of the best around. Not wanting to take any chances with our first time transaction, we heeded the realtors advice and hir...ed Ben and did not regret the decision. Not having dealt with real estate attorneys, much less attorneys in general, I never thought I would receive the personal attention and care that we received from Ben. Both Ben and his employees are highly experienced, organized and skilled. They are quick to pick up the phone and are quick to act on all aspects of the home-buying procedure. Ben is clear and concise and walked us through every step. Perhaps the most remarkable aspect of our experience with Ben is how he handled our mortgage loaner. Our mortgage loaner had me screaming SERENITY NOW throughout the entire process and made things unreasonably difficult for all parties involved in the process. Ben handled these people better than I ever could. Other friends who have used our lender have not made their closing dates due to the lenders unreasonable and unorganized last minute requests - however we closed on time which was a direct result of Ben's attentiveness. In summary, Ben Cooper was great. We felt like he really looked out for us throughout the process as a good attorney should. He understood what the house meant to us, and worked with us and the seller's attorney smoothly and professionally, and made some useful and productive suggestions as he saw them.
