Bobbi Jo Vilacha

Bobbi is an experienced defense litigator and a partner here at Norton, Sheehy & Higgins. She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Political Science from DrewUniversity in 1991. After graduating from Seton Hall University School of Law, Bobbi was admitted to the New Jersey and Pennsylvania bars in 1994, followed by admission to the New York bar in 1996.

Prior to joining the firm, Bobbi served as Staff Counsel for a national insurance carrier. She served as a civil arbitrator for the Middlesex County Superior Court, and currently serves as a panel arbitrator on behalf of several national insurance carriers.

Bobbi has returned for her second four year term on the Passaic County Ethics Committee.  She was initially appointed to the Committee in 2009.  She was elevated to the Vice Chair seat for 2010-2011, and was then elevated to Chair of the Committee for 2011-2012.      

Bobbi not only handles litigation files, but also heads the firm’s No Fault department.  She is extremely knowledgeable as to the current No Fault regulations as well as the rules of alternate dispute resolution, promulgated by the Forthright Solutions.  Bobbi handles claimant and defense no fault files, representing not only various providers, but insurance carriers as well.  She routinely provides seminars to our clients on such topics as current law, the importance of record keeping and documentation, and of course file strategy.

Bobbi’s practice areas include insurance defense litigation, personal injury and no fault, workers’ compensation, immigration and social security law.
