I reached out to Demetrios Stratis last year in seeking an attorney for a case of police misconduct and was shocked when he decided to charge me an arm and a leg after hearing the many details of my matter and its severity during our consultation. Why would he choose not to take my civil rights case ...on a contingency basis as he's done with all the other civil rights cases he's worked on?? The only reason I'm giving him an extra star is because he did take the time to hear me out when explaining my matter. All in all, find a Civil Rights attorney who you're more deserving of and will work with you to see that not only those at the top pay for your aggrievement but also that change is implemented within the system.

Mr. Stratis does not possess the knowledge of the law necessary to properly represent his clients. During the time I had Mr. Stratis retained, great damage was done to my case directly due to Mr. Stratis' negligence and incompetence. He does not read emails that you send him unless they pertain to hi...m obtaining money. While you give him the benefit of the doubt, assuming he is working on your matter, you later find out he was instead ignoring your case all together until the eleventh hour, at which point he will file a last minute motion, which will also further hurt your case. He does not even return phone calls for the Court or other important professionals involved in your matter. Mr. Stratis seems oblivious to the harm he causes. Some attorneys should not practice law in matters of great consequence. Mr. Stratis is one such attorney.
