Biography
Jennifer Pompeo attended college at Boston University on an academic scholarship. She graduated Cum Laude from the Boston University School of Management in 1992 where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance. She attended Seton Hall University School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 1995. During law school, Jennifer was selected as a Member of the Seton Hall Legislative Bureau which publishes the Seton Hall Legislative Journal. While a member of the Bureau, she assisted in the publication of the journal and served as a legislative-legal intern at the Office of the Attorney General in Trenton.
After graduating from law school, Jennifer served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Joseph S. Conte, J.S.C. in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Passaic County vicinage for the Court term 1995 to 1996. She was admitted to practice law in the State of New Jersey and the United States District Court, District of New Jersey in 1995.
Jennifer worked as an Attorney at a general practice firm in Morris County from 1996 through 2002 where she gained a broad knowledge of many different practice areas, including divorce and family law. In 2003, she founded the firm of Jennifer Pompeo Attorney at Law which is located in Morris County and is exclusively devoted to divorce and family law matters.
Jennifer is a Member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, Morris County Bar Association and Passaic County Bar Association. She serves as a panelist for the Morris County Early Settlement Panel and the Passaic County Early Settlement Panel. She serves on the Passaic County Bar Association family law committee and the Passaic County Bar Association Early Settlement Panel committee. She has also served as a volunteer Mediator for the Morris County and Passaic County Special Civil Part.
