I retained David Paris to represent me in a Business Divorce. As a minority partner I had limited rights and little leverage with the controlling partner. The buyout negotiations quickly went sour and I was forced to litigate to compel settlement. Shortly thereafter, the controlling partner counte...r sued, alleging professional malpractice (I hold a professional license). With the possibility of losing my livelihood, the matter quickly became serious and complicated.
