I am an Associate Attorney at the Romero Firm. I have experience representing detained and non-detained clients in immigration matters, including removal defense, asylum, family-based petitions, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status and naturalization applications. I also have experience handling municipal/traffic and family court matters.
My passion and drive to practice immigration law is rooted in my own immigration story. I was born in Cairo, Egypt and later became a naturalized citizen of the United States. This gave me firsthand experience in all phases of the immigration and naturalization process. I strive to provide quality representation and help clients navigate through the complicated immigration process.
I am a graduate of Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where I participated in the Neighborhood Justice Clinic and the Immigration Justice Clinic, received a certificate in International Law and served as Articles Editor of the Pace Law Review and a team member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. I enjoy traveling and learning about different cultures and so far have visited Egypt, Ecuador, Australia, New Zealand, Italy, Austria and Canada.
I am a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey and New York chapters of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). I serve on the New Members Division Committee and the Law Student Liaison Committee of the New Jersey Chapter, as well as the Citizenship Day Committee of the New York Chapter.
I am licensed in New Jersey and New York. I speak Arabic and have a working knowledge of Spanish.

"It is my pleasure and honor to endorse Seham. She is an attorney that I am fortunate to call my friend and colleague who I can always count on to discuss complex immigration issues that come up. When I think about Seham, the first thought that comes to mind is a zealous representation. Her drive and personality makes her an attorney who will fiercely fight for her clients. She has a strong connection to her clients because she herself is an immigrant who has gone through the difficult immigration system. Seham is an incredibly skilled published writer who has superb research skills. Her litigation skills are also remarkable as she has carried forth in her career the strong oral advocacy skills she acquired in law school while participating in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot competition. Seham has extensive knowledge of immigration law that makes any client very fortune to be represented by her."
