Ron succeeded in attaining a difficult trademark.

Ron advised me to pursue a trademark that would provide broader protection if approved. This would alleviate me from filing additional trademarks for variations of my service. He did a great job and my trademark is now registered.

Ron Sets The Bar For IP Attorneys

If you want your opponent’s heart to hit their stomach when they research your counsel, hire Ron. This is exactly what I was told by a team member of the “other side” after she came to work for us following our Ron-at-the-helm victory. When Ron took our case, I felt confident after doing my own resea...rch that we had the best. But this statement by my now sales manager cemented that sentiment; we had the best, and the other side knew it. Ron is a plethora of knowledge when it comes to intellectual property. Combine that with his powerful persona, his calm-in-the-storm approach, and his articulate legal writing skills, and you’ve got a brilliant attorney that you will be proud to have in your corner. Throw in his uncompromising honesty and his canny sense of humor, and you’ve got someone you'll be proud to have as your friend. If you’re looking for the best ip attorney, your search is over. You’ve found your man.

Expert Litigator, Tremendous Ethics

Ron is an outstanding legal resource. He is the guy you hire when you want straight answers and results. A walking encyclopedia with a powerhouse punch. Ron defended my trademark and my small, privately held consulting practice (Dallas, Texas) against a giant, publicly traded (NYC) corporation with ...deep pockets, and an internal and external legal team. I hired Ron, because I felt I needed an IP attorney in NYC who could stand up to the NYC law firm who represented the corporation I was in dispute with. They were using my trademark after having been denied by the USPTO (because it belonged to me). After speaking with 3 Dallas IP attorneys, I was very unhappy and terrified of the possible outcome. Then, I came across Ron's blog, I read it extensively, reviewed his credentials (outstanding) and hoped he was available. I expected to get his assistant or a voice mail, even a no since he litigates such large cases. Nope, I got Ron on the phone first try. I knew in just a few minutes he was it. Ron and I never met in person, only on the phone as we exchanged detailed and super lengthy emails (mainly serious ones) but some were really funny, which made this infringement experience bearable. Ron is an excellent writer and communicator. Then, we actually met face to face on the NYC courthouse steps. It was as if we had known each other for years. Ron's authenticity was humbling. He was immaculately prepared, eloquent and quick to his feet with deep, succinct knowledge. I could tell the Judge was impressed with Ron. Even the opposing team was quiet on several occasions. A refined, powerful force whose calm, strategic approach delivered everything I wanted, a win. I highly recommend Ron for anything IP.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
