Get the Job done !

Kim Tyler is not the typical organized, fancy office lawyer, but she gets it done and she knows how to do her job. She made it haste free for me and that I can appreciate. She is the most reasonably priced and that I can also appreciate.

Do your research...Lesson learned the hard way

If you're looking for an honest, professional, organized and trustworthy attorney, then Kimberly Tyler is NOT what you're looking for! I hired Kimberly Tyler to represent me in a bankruptcy case and it was the worst decision that I've ever made. She made all kind of promises that she didn't keep. She... was very unprofessional with an attitude as if she was doing me a favor when I paid her in full on the very first meeting. She has absolutely no organizational skills, no office space, so she meets you at the local IHOP, repeatedly loss paperwork, changed and canceled meeting 2 and 3 times a day, missed deadlines that cost me additional fees and promised to reimburse me and DID NOT. The cost wasn't much, but it was the principle. I have several text messages and emails from her assuring me that she would pay me the money and the day after my bankruptcy was FINALLY discharged she emailed me to tell me that since she got me out of debt (which is what she was hired and paid to do) she would not be paying me a dime. A REAL Trustworthy, Classy Person. I would never use Ms. Tyler services again and wouldn't refer her to an enemy.

Finally free from debt

As anyone knows filing for bankruptcy is never a easy decision. Kimberly Tyler made it easy for me. While other lawyers wanted as much money as they can get from me at such a rough time in my life. Ms. Tyler was reasonable in her price. She communicated with me and made me feel comfortable, told me w...hat I should expect in the proceedings and assured that all would be well. It is behind me now and I have Ms. Tyler to thank for it. I am finally able to relax and rebuild it feels wonderful. If I ever have any legal questions I would seek her opinion. She knows the system very well.

mrs.

I have been dealing with Ms. Kimberly Tyler for the past five months. I hired Ms. Tyler at the beginning of March 2016, to represent me in a divorce matter. She requested $800.00 five hundred for her services and $300.00 court fees. It has been nothing but a nightmare dealing with Ms. Tyler. At th...e beginning she will not contact me at all, when I reach out to her she told me that I was harassing her. I filed a grievance against Ms. Tyler with the attorney ethnic committee, only then three months after we met, she decided to help me because she had to answer the complaint. Ms. Tyler send me two documents that were completed and mailed back to her, later she contacted me and informed me that the paperwork were misplaced and she was going to mail me new forms. It took her one week to mailed me the forms again, advising me that more forms were to be followed. In the interim she send me a text message asking me can I give her $50.00 because she had a large bill to pay. Advised Ms. Tyler I was not working, had doctors appointment and could not afford to send her any money to help her paid her bills. It took Ms. Tyler six weeks from June till July to send me documents. When I though that all the documents were completed, she stopped working on my case telling me she was busy, had other clients. I requested the money I gave Ms. Tyler to cover the court fees since she was not filing my case in court, but she did not responded to my e-mails. I send her another text message telling her I was waiting for my money due to the fact that she was not filing my case in court. Just received an e-mail from Ms. Tyler telling me that she was not going to continue with my case unless I give her more money. She proof to me that she cannot be trusted at all. Now she will not refund my money, and unless I send her money to help her pay her large bills, she wants nothing to do with me. Do I recommend Kimberly Tyler as a lawyer: No, No, No.

Reprimanded issued in NJ, 2014

updated on 03/19/2015

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Kimberly’s comment:

“I WAS ONLY REPRIMANDED ONCE IN 2014. REPRIMAND WAS DUE TO THE FACT THAT I THOUGHT CLIENT KNEW STATUS OF HIS CASE BUT HE DID NOT. TOLD HIM I WOULD WIN CASE AND I DID. I AM ALWAYS CONCERNED ABOUT MY CLIENTS ' BEST INTEREST.”
