Gianna Elissa Cricco-Lizza

Ms. Cricco-Lizza’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels throughout New Jersey and New York. Her representation covers a variety of areas, including commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes and licensing, pharmaceutical compliance, and First Amendment and media issues. Ms. Cricco-Lizza has experience with all stages of the litigation process from drafting pleadings, motions to dismiss, and orders to show cause to handling subpoenas, witness preparation, and appellate review.

Ms. Cricco-Lizza also maintains an active pro bono practice that has included representation of an unaccompanied child in immigration court and practice in state family court in the domestic violence context. Recently, she assisted a client seeking to be appointed guardian of her incapacitated adult daughter.

Before joining the Gibbons Business & Commercial Litigation Department Ms. Cricco-Lizza served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Cooper, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law.

Ms. Cricco-Lizza currently serves as a coach for the Seton Hall Interscholastic Moot Court Board.
