Maran & Maran was formed in 1986 soon after David Maran joined his father, Joe Maran at Gateway 1 in Newark. When David joined his father, Joe Maran was already a seasoned and acclaimed personal injury trial lawyer. David had the privilege to train under and work with his father in a specialized personal injury and malpractice firm for 22 years until Joe retired. After leaving the Gateway building, the firm moved to the Legal Center where they practiced for twenty years. Then David Maran moved the firm to the other side of Penn Station in their current location at 9-25 Alling Street, Newark, New Jersey.
