Caitlin Petry Cascino is a litigator who defends employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies. She represents management against single- and multi-employee claims alleging workplace discrimination, harassment, whistleblower retaliation, and breach of contract. She also litigates matters involving breaches of post-employment restrictive covenants. Ms. Cascino represents employers of all sizes and from a number of different industries.
Ms. Cascino works closely with in-house counsel, business executives, and human resources professionals on day-to-day employment counseling. She advises management on matters related to employee hiring, discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, and accommodations. She drafts and update handbooks and policies to ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws, offers practical and cost-effective training, and conducts internal investigations regarding allegations of wrongdoing.
Ms. Cascino also handles traditional labor matters, including union elections, collective bargaining negotiations, unfair labor practice charges, and grievance arbitrations, on behalf of employers.
Ms. Cascino served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary Catherine Cuff, P.J.A.D. during Judge Cuff’s assignment to the Supreme Court of New Jersey for the 2012-2013 term. She received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, cum laude, where she was an Associate Editor of the Seton Hall Circuit Review, the President of the Employment Law Society, and a Distinguished Scholar. Ms. Cascino received her B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University, summa cum laude, in 2009, completing her undergraduate degree in three years.
