Biography
Daniel R. Lagana practices in the areas of insurance defense and civil litigation, concentrating primarily in personal injury protection (PIP) litigation and arbitration. He is well versed on pharmaceutical PIP claims and has saved the firm’s insurance clients over $1,000,000 on pharmacy PIP claims.
Daniel has lectured for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education (NJICLE). Most recently he participated as a speaker in seminars titled "Complex Issues in PIP" and "PIP No-Fault College".
Daniel, who formerly served as Secretary to the Bergen County Bar Association-Young Lawyers Division, was recently sworn in as the 2014-15 President of the Bergen County Bar Association-Young Lawyers’ Division.
Prior to joining Chasan Leyner & Lamparello, PC, in 2010, Daniel represented Geico Insurance Company, serving as in-house-counsel for the company's PIP department. Prior to serving with GEICO, Dan was law clerk to Hon. William R. DeLorenzo, Jr., Superior Court, Family Division, Bergen County Vicinage.
