Tamiaya J. Mosesly

Tamiaya J. Mosesly is a seasoned family law attorney with over a decade of experience in divorce, child custody, child support, domestic violence, and equitable distribution of assets. A graduate of Fordham University School of Law, she served as a staff editor for the Fordham International Law Journal and competed in the American Bar Association’s Negotiation Competition. Tamiaya is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and the District of Columbia.

Throughout her career, Tamiaya has demonstrated exceptional leadership and legal expertise. As Managing Attorney at Break the Cycle, she led a legal team while engaging in policy advocacy, community outreach, and strategic planning. Her work at Partners for Women and Justice and Central Jersey Legal Services involved managing complex family law litigation, representing clients at every stage of the process, and providing legal training to service providers and organizations.

Tamiaya’s breadth of experience also includes roles outside family law. As Deputy Attorney General for the Office of the Attorney General’s Division of Gaming Enforcement, she handled regulatory licensing and enforcement. Additionally, as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Trenton, she represented the city in labor and employment law matters.

Known for her negotiation skills and significant ADR training, Tamiaya combines strong advocacy with a client-centered approach. Passionate about supporting families and communities, she also dedicates time to mentoring emerging legal professionals and providing impactful legal training.
