Hired to supposedly bridge communication gaps between my ex and me for our four children, she quick...ly revealed herself as little more than a self-serving opportunist masquerading as a professional.From the outset, her methods were laughably inept: convoluted email threads that went nowhere, vague "guidance" that felt cribbed from a generic self-help book, and an astonishing lack of insight into real family dynamics. It's as if she believes her clients are too dim to notice when they're being strung along for billable hours. And oh, those hours add up—fast. Linda's primary talent seems to be inflating fees while delivering zero tangible results, turning what should be a supportive process into a blatant cash grab.The courts either turn a blind eye or are complicit in letting these types operate unchecked, preying on vulnerable families. Schofel struts around with an unwarranted air of superiority, convinced she's the smartest in the room while robbing you blind. Ineffective, overpriced, and utterly clueless—save your money and sanity for someone who actually cares about outcomes, not just their bottom line. Zero stars if possible; avoid at all costs.

We hired Linda Schofel as a parenting coordinator. She is as greedy as she is immoral. This woman's bottom is money. She's incompetent--does not remember details of a case nor put two and two together. She shows favoritism and a double standard when managing issues in a case. No matter how much ...concrete evidence I gave her that my ex was wrong about an issue, she would just insist he is 'smart and handsome' and could do no wrong. She has done nothing to help parenting through an acrimonious divorce. In fact, she only complicated matters. She has no concern for your child, all this immoral woman wants is money. Don't hire her!!!

Linda Schofel was my divorce attorney 6 years ago. She dealt with all issues including custody and parenting time, alimony and equitable distribution. She always gave me undivided attention and was attentive to whatever my concerns were. She was very focused and always prepared. She was thoughtfu...l, proactive and very knowledgable. Just recently, I contacted Linda because of the pandemic. I needed help with my ex husband regarding parenting time issues. Linda suggested 4 way Zoom meetings with my ex, his attorney, Linda and me. We were able to amicably reach an agreement with out judicial intervention. For that I am so grateful for Linda for being so compassionate, empathetic, understanding and persuasive.

Linda is a gift to the Family Law profession! The nature of what she does as a Parenting Coordinator (in highly contentious, emotionally charged situations) means her clients will, at times, be temporarily unhappy with her. Frequently one parent is going to walk out of the room upset. Yet – almost... without you realizing it in the moment – she is deftly navigating treacherous waters and striking an amazing balance. She does this by understanding both parties’ perspectives and working to find win-win-wins (you, your ex, and the children). Over time, you will start to see the wisdom of her ways and realize that she is working her magic. Eventually everyone ends up in a much healthier place. I speak from experience; her help in our situation has been absolutely invaluable! Our divorce, and even post-divorce, was a stressful maelstrom with multiple court battles, custody evaluations, police intervention, etc. Then the court ordered us to work with Linda and, with her involvement, the healing began. It took some time, but we have now “graduated” for we no longer require her services. She taught us how to have a professional – and even healthy – co-parenting relationship. However, the biggest beneficiary of Linda’s wisdom and compassion is the children. Ironically, they will probably never meet her or know who she is. However, there is no doubt that their lives have been dramatically improved because of this “guardian angel.” Our children unknowingly owe Linda a world of gratitude. If you need a Parenting Coordinator, there’s no one better than Linda. She is compassionate, insightful, knowledgeable, experienced, and cares deeply about the children – for whom she is the true (and biggest) advocate.

Linda has been my court appointed parenting coordinator for nearly 10 years. Unfortunately, it was necessary to engage her services multiple times to sort out parenting issues. Linda always has the child's best interest front and center. She is attentive, accessible, balanced and creative in findi...ng compromises. She has dealt with adversity and difficulty professionally and objectively. I highly recommend Linda without reservation.
