A. Refer to your retainer agreement.
B. SOunds like normal out of pocket that the attorney has.
C. Ask for an accounting.

They cant hold transcripts if file for bankruptcy, but short of that not sure if anything can be done except having the new school verify with old.

In NJ, the Landlord would be able to apply your rent security to the last month with the filing of the Bankruptcy.
