I hired him to do the closing on my house. He hired the Title company to do the title search. Both Him and the title company failed to get the bills for the 2 water meters associated with the property. After the closing I had to pay Passaic valley water $1,300 for past due bills that were never paid.... I went back to both my attorney and the title company and they told me the bill is the sellers responsibility but the water company said the debt is against the property not the person so the bad debt transfers to me because I am now living in the house. My attorney tried to demand payment from the seller but he did not pay it. The water company came to my house to shut me off and I was told by my attorney to pay the bill and he would get the money from the seller. It has been 11 months and I still have nothing. I am being told that if I want my money now I would need to sue the seller and that will cost me more money. I am 100% honest with the facts I did not embellish this story at all. You can decide after reading this if you should use this attorney or not to do your closing. Good luck
