From the moment we walked into court, we knew we lost. It was as if he had never been in court before. His voice was very meek. He seemed very shy and intimidated by the judge. His quesioning practices were very poor. The judge asked why he keeps asking the witnesses the same questions over a...nd over. Then when he finally asked a question that made sense, the judge told him that information had already been established. If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was his first day in court. He gave one of my witnesses a paper and pen and told her to write down notes she thought might be inportant for the case. When the judge saw her write something he screamed out " I told you no note taking in court. ". My witness said she didn't know. The judge then said to Joseph Mecca " I thought you told her. ". His response was " Yes, I absolutely told her ". He made up things as he went along. He was constantly apologizing to the judge. Losing the case was no surprise after the first day in court. But, his uncaring, uncompassionate personality was terrible. How can someone major in elder law and not care about their clients? As if this wasn't all bad enough, doing something very unthical at the end finalized our opinion of him.
