Peter Daniel Russo

I have been practicing as an attorney for twenty six years in New Jersey.  That time has been split evenly between criminal and municipal court matters including DWI as well as and personal injury and workers compensation. 

I have handled hundreds of cases from traffic tickets to first degree indictable crimes in Superior Court and Federal Court.  In the past years, defending DWI cases has become my specialty.  They have become increasingly complex, and the stakes are always getting higher.   In addition to my private practice, I am the Public Defender in the Townships of Montclair and Cedar Grove and this allows me to handle a variety of matters on a constant basis. 

On the Civil side, I have handled hundreds of cases where I represented clients who had been injured by automobile negligence or at work through no fault of their own. 

I am also a musician, proficient on both the piano and trumpet.  My first CD, titled
