I had a very disappointing experience with Attorney May Spark from the Public Defender’s Office. I felt that she was unprepared and lacked follow-through on important aspects of my case. Phone calls never got back to me. Despite providing her with information and documents, there was little to no com...munication or clear guidance on what steps were being taken. It seemed like my concerns were not being taken seriously, and I often felt like just another case number. I understand public defenders are under pressure, but clients still deserve basic attention and advocacy. I would not feel comfortable recommending her based on my experience.
