Douglas Robert Penn

Douglas R. Penn is a graduate of the University of Denver (B.A., 1989; M.A., 1994; J.D., 1994) and is admitted to practice law in Connecticut and Colorado. Mr. Penn has practiced exclusively in the field of Immigration and Naturalization Law since 1997. In February 2010, he opened his own firm in Stamford, Connecticut, where he continues to focus his practice solely on immigration matters. Mr. Penn frequently speaks to community groups on immigration matters. He is a frequent speaker at immigration law conferences at the state and national levels. He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and the Connecticut Bar Association. He is a past Chair of the Connecticut Chapter of AILA. He has served on several national committees of AILA including the professionalism and ethics committee, the national advocacy committee, the media liaison committees, and the client services committee.
